WELCOME TO THE DEANS' OFFICE

The Deans' Office is more than a place of discipline. It is a space where students can decompress, receive assistance, and support. October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Click this link for more information

REPORTING BULLYING

At District 117, we believe that a safe school environment is essential to the social-emotional growth and development of the individual student. The school is no place for bullying and harassment. Bullying goes largely unreported because students need to talk to an adult (even trusted ones) and report the incident to them. This can be uncomfortable for the individual being bullied or harassed.

District Policy on Bullying/Harassment

Bullying or harassment should be reported immediately. You can report it directly to the dean’s office or other trusted adult, or you can use the link below.

Report Bullying/Harassment Form

This form allows you to report bullying and harassing behavior directly to the dean’s office as a student, parent, staff member, or concerned family member. Whether you are a victim or bystander, you can and should report it. It is not anonymous as you can leave us contact information for follow up questions and information. Please provide us with as much information as you can so we can work as quickly as possible to handle the situation. This site is not monitored 24 hours a day but will be seen the next school day and the incident will be looked into. False reporting of an incident is against state law and school policy.
